China finally completed the world’s longest and widest cable bridge with a span of seven miles. It is mainly supported by two cable-towers, both of which reach 745ft in the air, and has a main body stretching 2,560ft wide.
Motorbikes and cars with speed below 45mph are not permitted to cross the bridge and it’s exclusively allowed for vehicles travel above 60mph. From Maqing Road in Haicang District in Xiamen it starts and Houzhai, Longhai in Zhangzhou in ends.
The bridge is connected from Nantong and Suzhou city with a distance of 32.4km. About 96.5 vehicles can be travelled through the 3 lanes of this bridge.
